If you are reading this, then it means you are really smart and that your English is quite good. Congratulations!

Unfortunately, as you may have found out, the library is closed but since you got here the next step will be continued in the classroom virtually. You will be given a questionnaire. The group that finishes the first and the closest to 100 % right, will be awarded. Good luck!

BUT, BEWARE! Before you get back to the place where all this started, on the way there make sure to find a vision, a mission and a list of all the places in our school. Take pictures (There will be one picture for each location). In the classroom in your groups, discuss the questions below and find the right answer.

Description of a person

Below there is a little quiz as a revision of what we have discussed so far about description of people. Don't forget to pay attention to the structure of such a description as well as to the content of each paragraph. And since you also have to describe a person, it will be good to remember the tips that help you better write your description.

Once you have finished the quiz, you may see the results following the link accompanying this quiz in your e-mail.

This is but the first stage towards a bigger project that requires you to research information about your favourite actor/actress, to select the right information and choose the prettiest pictures you can find. Then you need to assemble all the material together into a Glogster that you will post on your wiki page and present to your colleagues. The poster created will contain the description of your favourite actor/actress according to the models discussed, as well as images of him/her and even short videos with fragments of films or interviews.

Remember all the requirements of a description of a person and at the same time try to be as creative as possible in terms of layout, design used and other audio/video/flash effects you may decide to use! You will be evaluated in terms of the content of the description but also in terms of the aspect and attractiveness of the material  and the oral presentation.

The final product- the glogster will contain the following:
- the description,
- at least 3 pictures of the person,
- at least one video/audio file with the actor you like (it can be an interview you find on Youtube, a trailer of a movie, or just a fragment of a film),
- at least 2 links to the site you used in the search of information,
- a visible and catchy title

Below you can study the rubric containing the criteria used to evaluate your work. This will help you focus on what is important for your paper to be done well, moreover you will be able to assess your own work as well as the work of your colleagues.

Hello again class!

The holidays have long passed by and thus here we are in a new year, eager to explore English even deeper and on new horizons.... As first assignment, you will have to describe at your choice 3 of the people in the pictures. Pay attention to their clothes carefully and don't forget: start with more general clothing, like the bigger items and then go to smaller ones, like belts, caps, or a bag.... Good luck!
